Creazy Request

Friends,
Something crazy happen with us today, do you remember about ask pray about a bus for the church, well…, God answer this pray and we have one nice bus model 1992 in, Glenwood, Virginia Beach but we need to go and drive down this, this is not a problem, we have a friend to do this job for leave and he offer bring for us this bus for US$ 500.00, but of course we have to pay the fly ticket for him and the fuel for the drive, in total is US$ 3,800.00, but the problem is we need to pick this before next Tuesday, today we are looking for the ticket and see how we can raise the rest of the cost, but we are very happy and excited about this.
Because I don’t know nothing about USA geography I don’t know which one of you are close or in the drive down to Guatemala, because maybe you can help us with make this dream true.
If you are on the drive down maybe you can help us filling the tank when get close of you, in this way we can save some money, or if you leave far maybe help us with one tank of diesel, the size of the tank is 65 gallons. I think the average of the price of gallon is US$ 3.00
Or if you leave close maybe someone  can go and pick this one and in this way we will have more time for raise the money,
Believe me, even doing this all expenses still is cheap for be in Guatemala.

Keep Growing

Friends,
Every month is for us a testimony about the love of God for us, we really see his love and mercy on us, is not another reason for we are so blessed and we give the glory to our God, in this month we saw how God keep giving us more members for the church and in this way more Christians involved in God’s work. He bring new people to his call with more baptisms, new member true our Vivencia and more knowledge in the leader retreat, bigger commitment true our general retreat, all in one month.
BAPTISMS
This month again (we had the last month too) more members of the church asked us to come to give his public testimony of their lives was given to God and we have new members with all the motivation and love for serve another.

VIVENCIA
We had in our last vivencia (retreat for not Christians) 20 persons, thirties and willing to give their lives to Jesus, and of course 20 new possibilities of one of our warriors, and this really was a bless, (we have this activity one other month)

LEADER RETREAT
This month we had our leader retreat but we invited all the pastors from the villages where God sent us to work, and together we had a biblical studies and spiritual grow and a great friendship time, this really help us to keep spiritual healthiest and our work in all the villages focus and mutual goals, and really was a great bless.

CHURCH GENERAL RETREAT
This is the one when all the member of the church (at least the 70%), come to share one weekend together, letting God guide us in his will and strength us for all the work we sent us to do, we really love this one and need it, and of course was a great time together.

Of course this activities didn’t distract our serve for the kids and villages:
FEEDING PROGRAM
God let us  serve this month 101 breakfast, teach computer, do fluoride varnish, teach bible, teach hygiene, etc. in the city and in the villages and is bless see how all this kids really like come, learn and be part of us.

NEW VILLAGES
Please always keep your pray about new villages, all the time we receive more invitations and we visit some of them for share the gospel, we have to walk about 2 hours into the jungle, Great experience!!!!

PROJECTS
Let me talk a little bit about some of the projects we are finish this month or at least almost done, first the secondary school where God put in our hearts give this kid the opportunity to receive this education and with the sponsor from a Rotary Club in USA this was done. And let me talk about the water project for Las Flores they need water in the village and get let us to build a water tank for them, God let us to change the full roof of another school, build toilets and warehouse. And health center is in progress,

We have many other things we really like to share but the time… and room here… is the problem, but please keep us in your prays and thoughts,

A MEDICAL BLESS MONTH

Friends,
This month God show us how much he love and take care of the medical problem with our ministry.
Healing the Children Medical Team
We began the month with this team who is really a bless for us, they re4ally have a commitment with Guatemala, Jennifer Hook and Theresa Wallace bought a propriety in Monte Rico area for build a health center, and they will put the beginning of the founds for star and are looking (and almost got) some founds for keep doing this clinic, but they set a team with other doctors from their area and come 3 of 4 time per year to take care of 8 of the 16 villages we are giving the God’s love, they bring medicine, equipment and everything, they are ready for send a container for set two clinics (we are praying for one in Rio Dulce), they are making record of each village, contact our local health center and sponsor a lot of the training for health care persons and middle wives, a lot of work. Even they are training our people, from the city and in each village. They bring with a very sophisticate computer system for every station is communicate by a net and in the same time is in internet, is amazing.

DISNEY OUTRICH PROJECT
Disney sent us thousand of girls T shirts for share with teen girls and all of them are enjoy this gifts those are a beautiful and good quality T shirts and we can see how God bless us giving us the opportunity to begin to share this very special gift, you have to see the faces of the girls receiving, is very special for us be the instrument for this extraordinary program.

FLOURIDE APLICATIONS
In the villages, God let us put again fluoride for all the kids, this is very nice see how the kids are improving their dental care and see how they are today

FEEDING PROGRAM
God keep his eyes over us, He is letting us keep the daily breakfast in the city, Tablitas and Nacimiento, we are looking how the life of the kids and parents are changing and how God lead us with new challenger, now we will begin to take care of the pregnant women in that way the kids to will come will be healthier and better instrument of God, please pray a lot for this new program in the villages.

DEVELOP PROJECTS
God is let is finish the secondary school in Agua Caliente and the Water project in Las Flores, those are two projects with we are very excited, please pray for this project can keep coming

THE CHURCH KEEP GROWING
The nice thing in al of this is every day more new member are getting commitment with God at church and in this way God provide all the workers we need for can do his call, Praise his name he is taking care of  his workers.

Ok, we don’t want to bother to much, we will finish our April Testimony here, but we want to ask all of you to help us and be part of us again

1. Name for our Retreat Center.
Even we are not complete finish we are almost done and we want to put a name, many of you been in Monte Rico and can remember how it is, and please if you have any suggestion for named, share with us, we are asking to the member of the church help us with names and we will choose one with the pastor of the church on May 27 and we give to the church on Sunday May 31, please be part of us.

2. We are looking for get another Van for our ministry, but we are looking for a 15 passenger American Van (Dodge, Ford, GM), maybe one 2006 or better and I know maybe you can find one close of you, we have a person who work driving cars from USA to Guatemala who offer drive down this for us, if you see one and think can help us, please let us know.  And even we are praying for a large bus too.

A month of God’s love

Friends,
Here in CCCG (Centro Cristiano Cultural de Guatemala) we really believe the way God show us his love is when we have people and teams to come to be part of our ministry in Guatemala and March was one of this month when we see how much God love us.  We made our monthly work, but we receive many friends.

FEEDING PROGRAMS
Our kids keep growing and receiving all the blessed of God, Nacimiento, Tablitas and the city with their daily breakfast and the rest of the 14 villages receiving the monthly visit. And God let us improve the computer teaching to all of the villages.

FIREMEN SUPORT
We began the month receiving the visit of our friend from James Project, this is a program to help hospital and firemen in all the word, and they come to give some equipment for the my station (station 10th) here in the city and of course help with our project with the kids in the villages. Thanks Jeff Burns for come, and God bless Tina and Wes.

NEW VOLUNTEER
We have the bless to receive for 8 weeks a one very strong youth men Sam Judkins he will be helping with the kids in our projects and by the way helping in develop projects in the villages like he already did this month. Welcome Sam

MONTE RICO BUNCK BEDS
After them we receive the sponsor from our friend Loren Koski and the Steel Creek Church for build our 45 bunk beds for our retreat center, they come to help to buy all the materials and build the first one for we can finish the rest, and they did a great job, Loren and Ben Koski and pastor Kevin Bacon and the extra hands from Bras Saab and Brad Anton from Team Church all this team from Charlotte NC.

ENGINEERS WITH NO BORDERS
This team arrive with the goal to help and advise us in all our construction programs we are doing and planning in the close future (two fish farms, two schools, two water projects, one health center) and they really had a hard work, they have to visit two water springs in the middle of the jungle and walk hours for get there, travel all around the country, but they really was a enormous help for many other things they made here, thanks Patrick, Carolyn, Keila and Anthony,

Z FOUNDATION TEAM
Just the team from Charlotte leave, they share the tips for build the buck beds and this team finish all of the 45, they really made a great job working in family, the men was doing the assemble and kids and woman varnishing them, this really was a bless and the work was complete.

STROUD WATER CHURCH TEAM
And for finish the month we receive a team from Portland Maine, they come to help us to build a church in one of the villages where God send us to work with kids, we really need have in each village the center of the fight against satan and each church is one of this, and we need to help the local pastor to do the work to God call them to do, and the Pasto Bill Chadwick with his church are helping us to make this happen, is very hot now around Rio Dulce and Las Brisas (the name of the village) don’t have electricity and you have to take all the materials by boat, is a very hard work but God is completing all for his Glory. They bring a dentist Doctor Wayne Lopez who works in the village al the time when we was building, a big bless for the people.

TWO RIVER CHURCH VISIT
This team visit us with the Pastor Dave Benner from Two River Church our partner church in TN, he come with Sid Kemp the President of our Foundation “Feeding God’s Children”, they was to visit the villages and pray for God keep giving us the energy for keep on the run.

VIVENCIA
We really like to keep sharing our fight in side of church, like our fast and pray for pour projects, our training time with God, but this could be a long letter. Just let us share the Vivencia, this is a kind of retreat, but is just for not Christians person where we share the love of God with them and new people come to God and be part of our ministry, ready to begin to work,

Another Crazy February

Friends,

This last February really was crazy, we had a little bit of everything and God was with us like always, we did a lot:

MISSIONS You remember this is our first month our couple of missionaries are working in Rio Dulce Area and was a bless open the diary breakfast over there, the odd day in Agua Caliente and the even days in Nacimiento, this is the beginning of a dream come true. (feed the kids every day), please keep praying for Edgar and Aury, pray for God provide everything for the breakfast and for them too.

Two River Church Team We began the month with the visit of our friends from TN and we went to visit almost all the villages where God sent us to work and pick a lot of ideas and projects for the next years

Washington State firefighters team After we had the visit of this friends who come to training firemen and by the way spend some time with us at the feeding program and church,

Couples conference This month we have the opportunity to share with the married from church and the important of our relations, if they are fine they will improve the quality of the kids, and was a great activity.

PROJECTS God let us with the help from some Rotary Club, begin one health center, one school and change the roof of another, and a church in Maine Stroud Water Church help us to begin a church

Monte Rico God bless us with the sponsor for begin he construction of our bunk beds for our retreat center two teams will come on march to finish this work but we have to make part of the assembled parts

Rotaries friends A team from North Dakota from a Rotary Club, come to help in the construction of the School in Agua Caliente,

Kid’s welding Something very special to happen this month was to see how some of the kids who are learning weld in our welding program come to one of the villages to weld the windows, is the first work to this kids do but know we have our own welders and those are kids who are willing to share this with others

FEEDING RPOGRAM We begin the daily breakfasts in the city and we have new villages for work in this month, we really are bless from God with all of this work he let us to do, please pray for the new two villages, Black Creek and La Angostura and now we are teaching computer in all the 17 villages,
